Things You Are Dying to Know
Pre-Mum Days: I loved reading, writing, traveling, & watching re-runs of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I’m all grown up and stuff with 2 kids but that doesn’t stop me from being immature, goofy, geeky, or watching Buffy.
Apparently, I’m an #INFJ (it’s like a secret hand shake β if you’re in the club, you’ll know what that means).
I love reading YA novels β the good, the bad, and the cheesy. I love food. And wine. And chocolate, the seventh wonder of the food pyramid.
With the having-two-kids thing, I have tons of spare time in which I’ve accidentally learned the names of cartoon characters I wish I’d never heard of as well as learned all the powers of the Angry Birds which I’m glad I did. Because I need them when I play.
I also write.

Seriously
Boring Stuff
Have a master’s degree in writing. Taught at university and 6-8 grade levels. Been writing since I was 9 years old.
I am a writer. That’s all there is to be said on the matter.
It’s what I do. It’s who I am.
Great to meet you properly at last Sarah! Kids certainly do change everything. My kids are grown and now I don’t know any cartoon characters…but ask me anything from the 90s or even into the mid 2000’s and I’m right there with you! These days I’m told ‘Mum, you must watch Breaking Bad’. Love it π

Love your bio! And I’m also a huge Buffy fan, or was before kids. Sometimes when the little one naps I sneak in a rerun…

You had me at Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Have the whole series on DVD as well as Angel. Have a very large Spike sculpted figure. And saw Marsters during a convention in Atlanta discuss anything and everything. Also saw several other of the actors and their panels.

Great to meet you Sarah and am also doing the whole Mum Writer challenge thing. Feeling myself start to get a few projects together. I think all the blogging has helped me get my thoughts sorted and also to find and develop my own voice. It turned out to be quite different to what I’d expected. Looking forward to reading more xx Rowena

Hmm comments have gone from your latest post about Ali Issac’s review. Is that a deliberate tactic on your part to stop being showered with well deserved congrats? Because it won’t work. You deserved it. Your book is the best anthology I’ve read. Period. Fullstop. En Point. Nrrrrrh
